Brachychiton rupestris Queensland Bottle Tree

An outstanding native feature tree with the iconic bottle shaped trunk. Slender green/grey foliage, clusters of hidden yellow flowers. Slow growing to 20 metres. Handles drought, enjoys full sun but can handle part shade. Can lose its leaves in colder climates.

A striking feature tree.

Position & Soil

Bottle trees grow best in well drained, slightly acidic soil, in full sunshine but they can also withstand temperatures of -8 degrees up to +50 degrees celsius
