A hardy native Australian plant that is listed as vulnerable in the wild due to it not being found often. Produces a bright red or reddish-orange flower spikes, that fan around and can reach 5 metres. Following the flowers are 4 inch long egg shaped fruits which attracts birds.
A great statement piece for the garden and even does well as a container specimen.
Doesn’t need much maintenance, just the occasional pruning of browned leaves. Enjoys full sun to part shade and tolerates most soil types plus handles drought conditions well.
