Fast growing deciduous tree around 3-5 metres tall and the same in width, produces masses of fruit spring through summer. Fig trees take around 2-3 years to fruit. Figs do not continue to ripen off the tree so best picked when ripe.
Great little fruiting tree producing an abundance of fruit. The sap from a fig tree can be toxic to dogs and cats it can also be used to treat warts!
Plant in full sun with well worked soil with fertilizer or compost, water well when fruiting. No need to prune, only when tree gets older as the fruit grows on new growth.
