A relation of the eucalyptus family, this native tree is found near the eastern coastline and along the banks of streams. Although slow growing, it grows from 5-15m in height so is best suited for large gardens, parks and as a street tree. Small yellow flowers are produced in summer, mainly in January.

Tolerant of a variety of soils provided ample water is available. Will tolerate partial shade but will grow more quickly in full sun.
